Police say a nine-year-old boy in South Grafton used his skateboard to hit an alleged abductor over the head yesterday afternoon while he was walking home with his sister.
The male driver of a maroon Pajero style four-wheel-drive allegedly attempted to drag the boy into his vehicle in Ryan Street at around 6pm.
The boy then claims to have broken free from the man before fleeing with his sister to a nearby service station.
