UPDATED The pilot of a light plane that crashed near Moree this morning has died.
Police say the mans crop duster crashed near Gingham Road, at Moree just after 9am.
He was the only person on board the aircraft and police are preparing a report for the coroner.
It’s the second plane crash in Moree in just over 12 months.
In March last year, an experienced pilot and three members of a well-known farming family were killed when a single engine plane nosedived into a paddock while trying to land at Moree airport.
