Prominent Newcastle businessman and former Knights chairman, Michael Hill has revealed he has declared bankruptcy, following a number of failed property investments.
Blaming the financial crisis, Mr Hill says he’s been left devastated.
He is best known as co-founder of the Newcastle Knights Rugby League Club back in 1988.
A qualified solicitor, Mr Hill also formed prominent Newcastle business, Turnbull Hill Lawyers, from which he retired several years ago.
