A store owner has been brutally bashed and robbed in a midnight attack at Nerang.
He was confronted by two men in balaclavas armed with a metal pole and a screwdriver.

Seen 2 suspicious young guys bout 3pm on the afternoon prior to the robbery that occured later that nite. Followed them past the Commonwealth bank on Price street. Have told police via phone, thought maybe they could view banks video around that time of 3pm & 4pm to see if they had recognised these two guys as they maybe known to police as I would suspect.
