Police investigating the discovery of a man’s body in a drain at Cessnock, say the death appears to have been accidental.
A resident of Lightfoot Street reported the body in a stormwater drain behind his property, just before 11am.
Initial inquiries indicate the body is that of a 30-year-old local man, and that his death may have been the result of misadventure.
