Pre-schoolers in Port Macquarie are getting an early start on fundraising for this weekend’s Relay For Life.
Around 40 youngsters from Columba Cottage walked laps of a nearby indoor stadium this afternoon to raise money for the New South Wales Cancer Council.
The grown ups will get their chance to join in the fundraising efforts alongside more than 700 others in Port’s main event at Stuart Park.
Columba Cottage has entered a team of teachers, childcare assistants and parents in the 24-hour relay which kicks off at 10am on Saturday.
