A female police officer has found herself on the wrong side of the law, after being charged with drink driving near Newcastle.
The off-duty officer was stopped for a breath test on the Pacific Highway at Heatherbrae early on Wednesday morning, where she allegedly returned a positive test in the low range category.
She’ll appear before Raymond Terrace Local Court in January.
