Chemical giant Orica has received a scathing review of how it handled last year’s hexavalent chromium leak at its Kooragang Island plant.
The spill sent a plume of the chemical over neighbouring communities, but residents weren’t notified for several days.
The findings of the parliamentary inquiry have also put more pressure on embattled Environment Minister Robyn Parker.
