A 49-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a man was attacked with an axe and crossbow on the Central Coast yesterday afternoon.
A 56-year-old man was in the driveway of his Somersby home when a crossbow arrow was fired at him. The arrow hit a laptop being carried by the man. His attacker then ran at him and struck him in the head with an axe.
The victim was taken to hospital with a head wound.
