Orica’s troubled ammonia plant at Kooragang Island, is ready to undergo yet another restart.
The company says it’s fixed problems that caused a nitric acid leak from the facility last week.
That came after the startup process was suspended due to a mechanical fault.
Orica is warning Stockton residents not to be concerned if they notice steam coming from the facility tomorrow.
