Major changes are being made to one of the mid-north coast’s most iconic festivals in a bid to entice more visitors.
Organisers of Woolgoolga’s CurryFest are planning to expand the usual one-day event into a three-day extravaganza.
The event will include the usual multicultural cuisine, cultural displays and activities, however festival-goers are being promised more entertainment including celebrity cooking classes and meditation.
Around 13,000 people are expected to attend this year’s Curryfest to be staged in April, celebrating the region’s cultural diversity.
