DRIVER LEADS LISMORE POLICE ON HIGH SPEED CHASE

Three men, including two teenagers, have been questioned following a high speed chase on the Brunxner highway, west of Lismore.
Early yesterday morning officers gave chase to the Ford Fairlane – which reached speeds of 170 kilometres an hour in a 100 zone.
The occupants were also allegedly throwing objects at the police car.
The pursuit was eventually terminated for safety reasons, and the car was later found dumped in North Lismore.
The 17, 19 and 20 year old males were found nearby and are assisting police with their inquiries.
