Mullumbimby bodyboarder Dave Winchester has kick-started his 2012 season in flying form finishing third in the IBA Pipe Challenge in Hawaii.
Winchester scored an impressive 16.5 in flawless two metre barrels, but it wasn’t enough to overtake winner Jeff Hubbard.
Still, the 21- year-old was happy with the result, which will boost his 2012 World Title Campaign.
