The long-awaited replacement of Laurieton’s ailing Stingray Creek Bridge will be fast-tracked if the local council is successful in its bid to share in the State Government’s new loan incentive program.
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council will lodge an application through the Infrastructure Renewal Scheme, in which the government chips in four per cent of the interest on loans over $1-million.
Council will also seek assistance to upgrade Hastings River Drive.
