The aggressive discount war between supermarket giants Coles and Woolworths is about to step up in the Coffs Harbour, with Coles unveiling a new mega-store.
There was a frenzy outside the new premises in Harbour Drive this morning, with excited shoppers lining up hoping to snag an opening bargain.
Local consumers aren’t the only winners, the supermarket has doubled staff numbers at the custom-built site, creating 60 new jobs on the floor.
