A controversial plan to sell off a number of parks in the Manning is one of the big issues being tackled at the Taree Council meeting on Wednesday night.
Councillors will vote on whether to withdraw the ‘open spaces’ proposal and review the plan, or to push ahead with it.
Other key issues up for discussion include trialling CCTV in the Taree CBD for five-years… Extending the ‘vibrant spaces’ trial to allow businesses in Old Bar, Wingham and Harrington to use the footpath free of charge and awarding the tender for the long awaited reconstruction of Manning Point Road.
