RICHARD JONES RIDES SIDESADDLE FOR CHARITY

Westpac Rescue Helicopter boss Richard Jones is preparing to go to great lengths to raise money for his organisation.
The former rugby league player will follow in the footsteps of his grandfather Irving Price Jones, by taking part in the Sidecar Grand Slam on February 25th.
Jones will join forces with Darren Cafe at Newcastle Showground.
“We can always pull the parachute … ha ha ha … or the emergency brakes.”
The person who makes the biggest donation to the helicopter service will win the chance to try it for themselves.

  1. Well, good luck Richard, you know it would be good to have others. Especially , the media organisations to maybe do such a thing? and give speedway sport more of what it rightly desires .

  2. Great incentive Richard. Our race team is looking forward to not only the chance to raise money for a very worthy cause in the Westpac Helicopter Service but to have a popular identity try what is arguably one of the most dangerous sports around. February 25….Bring it on!
