Two women had a close shave this morning after the car they were travelling in crashed into a watery ditch on Wyrallah Road at East Coraki.
They were trapped in the submerged vehicle and had to be rescued by emergency services.
Both were taken to Lismore Base hospital with minor injuries.
Traffic was delayed for around 45 minutes as fire crews worked to remove the car from its watery parking spot.
