Lake Macquarie Rowing crews have warmed up for the state championships by winning the 13th Linwood-Throsby Gift relay, beating teams from the mid north coast, Sydney and the Central Coast.
Lake Macquarie led after the first of three relay legs and managed to hold off the Newcastle Club, and defending champions, University.
