A man has been transported to Newcastle’s John Hunter hospital in a stable condition, after being shot at his home in Coffs Harbour overnight.
Police were called to the property at Toormina just after 10pm, and found the 30-year-old suffering a gunshot wound to his upper arm.
They believe the victim had been arguing with a 29-year-old Boambee man on his verandah when the shooting took place – that man then fled the scene and remains at large.
Police want anyone with information to come forward.
