NICK KAY INCLUDED IN AUSTRALIAN BOOMERS SQUAD FOR FIFTH WINDOW OF QUALIFIERS

Tamworth’s Nick Kay has been included in the Australian Boomers squad ahead of the fifth window of the FIBA World Cup qualifiers in Melbourne.

The squad of 24 was announced on Friday, with seven of his Perth Wildcats teammates also named.

It’s Kay’s first year playing for the West Coast franchise, their win on Saturday night over Melbourne United going into double extra-time.

The Wildcats winning 101 to 96.

Meanwhile, Kay’s next outing in green and gold will be on November 30, when the Australian Boomers take on Iran.
