A small Hunter school is bringing new meaning to the term, “school of the air”.
It started with a regular spot on a local radio station by students from Cessnock West Public.
Other pupils wanted to get in on the act, so the school began putting together its own in-house station.
Community donations and volunteers rolled in, and now Playground Radio has a full roster of aspiring Djs.
NBN’s own Gavin Morris was a special guest today, and shared a few tips on how he puts together the weather report.
