Charges have been laid against two men, as police continue to investigate a break in at Lake Macquarie.
A quantity of cash was stolen from a home on Robina Drive at Hillsborough on Sunday, with investigations leading officers to a 20-year-old man at a home on Roe Street at Mayfield.
Following his arrest on Monday, a property at Hamilton South was searched, with a quantity of cash found.
A second search warrant was then conducted on Avery Lane at Buchanan, with a 22-year-old man arrested at Cessnock Police Station.
Both men were granted conditional bail having been charged with a number of offences including dealing with the proceeds of crime.
They’ll face Cessnock Local Court in May.
