POLICE HUNT FOR TEENS INVOLVED IN ARMED HOME INVASION

Police are on the hunt for a group of teenagers who allegedly broke into a Ballina house last Friday morning.

At about 4am a 53-year-old man woke to find 4 teengage boys in his Grant Street home.

One of the boys allegedly threatened him with a knife before fleeing with the mans wallet and some clothing.

Police would like to speak to anyone who can assist with the investigation.

Meanwhile, Casino police are hoping CCTV footage will help them identify a person in relation to an attempted armed robbery at a Service Station last month.

At around 7.20pm on the 15th of September a young man entered the station on the corner of Barker and Centre Street in Casino with a machete.

He demanded money but was threatened by a male employee and left empty handed.
