Veteran Newcastle jockey Dale Spriggs has been cleared of serious injury after being rushed to hospital for a suspected broken ankle following a barrier mishap at Broadmeadow this morning.
The trials also saw the return of dual Newcastle Horse of the Year, Atomic Force.
