CORDNER NAMED IN JUNIOR KANGAROOS SQUAD

Former Old Bar local Boyd Cordner has been named in the Junior Kangaroos side in this weekend’s clash against the Junior Kiwis.

The 19-year-old who went to St Clare’s High in Taree has snared a spot in the second row.

Cordner made his NRL debut for the Sydney Roosters this year, but has been linked to the club since 2009.

The game this Sunday at Ausgrid stadium is the main preliminary match to the Australia/New Zealand test.
