Taree road racer Damian Cudlin will have the chance to fulfil his dream of racing in the MotoGP when he competes in this weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix.
The 29-year-old will replace Italian rider Loris Capirossi who dislocated his shoulder while competing in Spain.
Despite being up against some of the world’s best, including Aussie champion Casey Stoner, Cudlin says he’s thrilled to have the opportunity.
The qualifying race gets underway tomorrow before the main event on Sunday.
