Transgrid is holding a number of community information sessions this week on its proposed $227-million Far North Coast power line.
The 205 kilometre project would see the construction of a 330 kilovolt power line connecting the Lismore substation with Dumaresq (DUE-MERICK), west of Tenterfield.
The information sessions are being held in Tenterfield, Drake and Casino to give residents a chance to discuss the Environmental Assessment with staff.
Submissions on the project close October 24.
