NEW WETLAND TO HELP IMPROVE LAKE MACQUARIE’S WATER QUALITY

Water quality in Lake Macquarie is set to improve, with a $300,000 wetland being created at Macquarie Hills.

Council workers say as well as stopping pollution flowing into the lake, the wetland will provide a valuable habitat for native wildlife.
