Mayor Peter Blackmore says he’ll be disappointed if a $45-million promise to fix the Maitland stretch of the New England Highway is not honoured in tomorrow’s budget.
It was one of many commitments from the Coalition before the election, with one group of workers claiming they’ve already been betrayed.
