A 63-year-old school bus driver blamed for causing the death of a motorist at Harper’s Hill has avoided jail.
Robert Ervine’s bus ploughed into the back of Susan Welch’s car as she tried to make a right hand turn off the New England Highway.
He was today placed on a three-year good behaviour bond, and disqualified from driving for two years.
