Two policemen are recovering in hospital after their patrol car hit a pole during a pursuit in Redhead this morning.
One officer suffered head lacerations, while the other escaped with a broken foot.
They were chasing a motor bike rider on Kalaroo Road, and investigations into the incident are continuing.
