A 79-year-old man is in hospital after he lost control of his car, which then flipped on its roof, and landed in a creek.
The accident happened just after nine o’clock this morning on Wooyung Road.
The man was trapped in his vehicle for more than and hour before being freed by ambulance officers.
He was airlifted by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter to Tweed Hospital where he is in a stable condition.
