TITANS PLAYERS BUST GUTS IN PRE-SEASON TO SAVE REP AMBITIONS

Titan prop Luke Douglas says a slow start to 2013 could cost some players rep jerseys.

Last season, the Gold Coast Titans lost six of their first seven games.

But now players are busting their guts in pre-season training to avoid another bad start – especially those with rep ambitions.

“Good start to the season from the Titans will put me in good stead I suppose put everybody in good stead you always wan to start well with your team and if we can get that going it might put me in a good spot to be a chance.”

Douglas will join team mates Jamal Idris and Aidan Sezer in Sydney this weekend for a three-day Emerging Blues Squad camp.
