Hard working Knights forward Matt Hilder has been crowned Newcastle’s best player for 2010.
The utility forward actually won the club’s two main awards, named the Player’s Player and also honoured with the top gong to cap a strong individual season.
Hilder beat captain Kurt Gidley for the title as the club’s best, with the captain honoured with the coaches award.
Meanwhile Mark Taufua and Con Mika have both been selected to represent Samoa.
