SHARK SIGHTINGS MORE FREQUENT IN LAKE

They’re quiet, getting bigger and being seen more frequently in Lake Macquarie.
Sharks that is…And in this case a Hammerhead, spotted near the Wangi RSL club this morning.
Chris Lewis from Cessnock was out for an early walk, when he spotted what’s thought to be a 2-metre shark moving through the shallows.
The area is popular with swimmers and jet ski riders.
