The partially decomposed bodies of a Lake Macquarie couple, have been found at a property at Rathmines.
Police set up a crime scene around this Knebworth Grove home today, after colleagues of the pair made the grisly discovery late yesterday.
It’s believed the couple, aged in their 50s, could have been dead for up to a week.
The details surrounding their deaths remain vague, with police relying on the results of autopsies being conducted today and tomorrow to learn more.
However officers do say the involvement of a third party isn’t suspected.
