Inspired by Sydney’s famed Sculptures By The Sea, Nelson Bay has created its own waterfront art exhibition.
Eight works have been placed around the marina and foreshore, for the inaugural Sculptures By The Bay.
Each of the works depicts local flora or fauna, although in some cases, the artists have used a bit of creative licence.
The exhibition will be held annually for at least three years, with the 2011 winner to be announced on Saturday night.
