TRIBUTES FLOW FOR HUNTER TEEN HANNAH RYE

Tributes are flowing for Hannah Rye, the young Hunter cancer patient who captured hearts across the country when she attended her school formal with Knights halfback, Trent Hodkinson.

The 15-year-old died over the weekend, following a brave two-year battle with the disease.

“Oh look it’s a tragedy, being a parent myself, as you are obviously, I don’t think anyone can imagine what the poor family is going through. It must be horrible.”

Hannah is being remembered as an inspirational young woman.
