QANTAS AIRCRAFT NAMED AFTER COFFS HARBOUR

QantasLink celebrated a double event in Coffs Harbour today with the opening of the state’s first regional lounge and the naming of a new Q400 aircraft after the city.

The 74-seat Dash Eight was named by Coffs Harbour Mayor, Keith Rhoades.

The aircraft is one several planes purchased by Qantas when it increased its flights to Coffs Harbour to 33 each week.

The new lounge facilities include complimentary wireless internet, a plasma television and a selection of premium refreshments.
