Recent images of cattle being slaughtered in Indonesia caused many people to consider their own food choices.
Now the rights of all animals is the focus of a trek along the east coast by a group called Our Place on Earth.
It’s calling for an end to so-called factory farms, feedlots and abattoirs, and is offering passersby vegetarian meal options.
The group hopes consumer choices can help reduce the production of animals for food.
