That old saying “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” was certainly the case at Port Macquarie on the weekend.
The town’s annual swap meet drew all manner of collectors eager to snap up a bargain.
From classic magazines and machinery, to model cars and bric-a-brac, the event really did have something for everyone.
With more than 150 stalls, the Port Macquarie event is the larges of its kind on the mid north coast.
Staged each year by the Hastings Auto Restorers Club, the swap meet is also a fundraiser for the North Coast Cancer Institute at the base hospital.
