A senior police officer on the North Coast is facing corruption charges after an investigation by the Professional Standards Command.
The 39-year-old man was arrested yesterday, after he allegedly provided confidential information to criminals.
Late this afternoon, a second man was also charged with corruption.
The 40-year old who is not a police employee, and the senior constable, will face court in Coffs Harbour later this month.
