Member for Northern Tablelands Richard Torbay has put forward a motion in state parliament, to cut through bureaucratic red tape which often surrounds communities along the New South Wales, Queensland border.
Mr Torbay says people living in his electorate often suffer because of difference legislations on either side of the border.
