Tiago Calvano will finish the A-League season with Sydney FC after being released by the Newcastle Jets.
Calvano will be replacing injured Sydney player Pascal Bosschaart.
The Brazilian joined the Jets for the 2011/12 season and was a regular in the starting side earlier this season, but the emergence of Connor Chapman and the return of Taylor Regan squeezed him out.
Calvano says he is grateful for the time he spent with the Jets but says he is looking forward to playing more A-League games.
He will train with his new club today and is expected to play in Saturday’s clash against Wellington Phoenix.
