Police have arrested a man over the brutal killing of a three-month-old puppy at Lemon Tree Passage in Port Stephens.
28-year-old Kyle Parkes has been charged with aggravated cruelty to an animal, torture causing death, and domestic violence intimidation offences.
The staffordshire bull terrier was allegedly decapitated following a domestic dispute.
Parkes was arrested this morning following a tip-off from the public.
