SOLAR RALLY HEATS UP LISMORE CBD

A group of frustrated members of the community took over Lismore’s CBD today, hoping the state government will see the light.

They protested against a recent decision to reduce the solar power tariff, saying they feel ripped off.

    customer satisfaction?… the NSW state gov in trying to do business received a 120,000 plus “not satisfied rating “ ?? aka solar scheme… if one large contractor (eg a tollway builder) doesn’t meet expectations they get compensated… eh??? would you do business with them

    Lets us suggest to the politicians that they now need to take 33% reduction in their salary … retrospectively… how would that go?

    how about the gst collected in installing and supplying the systems….

    yet alone the cost of a new power station to produce this amount of energy and then their is the added cost of the transmission lines to distribute… oh did I say the amount of coal that would used in the production v’s the sunlight used in pv arrays

    and at the end of the day, I along with 120,000 plus others entered into contracts based on facts and figures based upon a “guaranteed term”… that is what you do in life… now to revert is absolutely wrong…. NOT THEY WAY TO BUSINESS…
