The Tinkler Sports Group is bringing together key basketball identities, to oversee plans to return Newcastle to the NBL, and enter the WNBL.
A handful of former players and coaches have already been approached to sit on an advisory board.

Newcastle Basketball GM, Ivan Spydz, believes a submission could be ready within two months, with a view to both teams taking part in their respective 2012/2013 seasons.
