A portion of land at Coffs Harbour’s Jetty has been withdrawn from sale by the state government.
The 5,000-square-metre block adjoins the railway line and fronts Harbour Drive.
The city’s Jetty Action Group and the Chamber of Commerce asked the government to hold off on the sale until a masterplan for a re-development of the Jetty forshore is completed.
The Jetty Action Group wants the land to become public open space and included in the the Jetty Reserve.
