For those diagnosed with brain cancer, the road ahead can be a daunting and lonely one.
As part of ‘Be Brave for Brain Cancer Day,’ a brain tumor forum was held in Erina today.
Featuring guest speakers such as Radiation Oncology Director doctor Michael Back, the day provided the opportunity for patients, carers and medical professionals to discuss new approaches to managing the disease.
It’s also hoped the forum will broaden support for the illness within the community.
